The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge could open to traffic as early as in the second quarter 2018
Representatives from the MGS Entertainment Show have attended the London ICE Totally Gaming 2018 on the 6th – 8th of this month and were able to develop stronger relationships between the association and the international business communities. The MGS representatives held meetings with fellow national trade associations during this trip and also met with many international trade bodies, as part of its efforts to convey the message of diversity in the Macau SAR economy and discussion with many European casino trade associations. MGS has come a long way in its sixth years of representing the interests of the major forces in Asian business. The drive for economic diversity in Macau opens a wealth of opportunity for business in our region and that will form the crux of our international campaign over the coming year. We want to convey the message to people that MGS is the best route into the Asia Pacific continent.
During the ICE Totally Gaming 2018, MGS representatives have launched the sales and promotion strategies for the coming show this year which will stage its sixth edition on the 13th – 15th November 2018 at the Venetian Macao.
MGS has established itself as a traditional November event which is a key buying and networking window for the Asian industry. The show has set its sights on giving the vitally important emerging Asian market a key place on the calendar, and one which keeps the international business community focused on global developments.
The past year has seen a strong focus within the trade body, the MGS Entertainment Show, on enhancing the show’s status by working ever more closely with many departments from the Macau SAR Government and the People’s Republic Liaison department in the city. This investment in governmental partnerships is key to the association’s positioning: over the coming years, it will be these relationships that will enable the show and its exhibitors to maximise their returns from the technological, manufacturing, entertainment and service opportunities that the diversifying economies in our region will be delivering.
MGS continues to consolidate its status in the international marketplace with the recent 2017 edition attracting a record number of more than 162 exhibitors on the show floor and an attendance in line with the previous edition’s highest level.
